Every year, SpecSimple.com hosts the Save-a-Sample! Box-a-thon. Save-a-Sample! is our way of creating a "second life" for unused brochures, fabrics and finish cards. Over the years, thousands of pounds of materials have been donated by some of New York's busiest design firms. The materials are delivered to New York area design schools, with the help of local furniture dealers. As a result, talented students have a much richer set of resources to choose from during the year.
In addition, with support from generous manufacturer sponsors, we raise money that provides resource library scholarships at each of the design schools.
